The Bayreuth International Summer School offers you an all-inclusive package:
- Tuition
- Lunch on course days (Monday to Friday)
- Cultural and leisure programme
- Weekend excursion
- Welcome package
- Welcome and Farewell dinners
- Free German language course
The cost of accommodation, insurance, travel to Bayreuth and visa application is not included.
International students from associated partner universities of the University of Bayreuth must be nominated by their home university by 01 April 2022 and will receive a tuition fee reduction. Students from partner universities who are not nominated, must pay the full programme fee.
Payment
Payment instructions will be given in the formal letter of admission, which contains the invoice for the programme fee. With the receipt of your acceptance letter, you'll be required to pay the full programme fee billed on your invoice within two weeks of the receipt.
Cancellation Fee
In the event of cancellation, the following fees will be charged depending on the time of cancellation:
- Cancellation by 30 April 2022: 200 Euro fee
- Cancellation by 31 May 2022: 400 Euro fee
- Cancellation after 01 June 2022: 100% of invoiced amount
- Cancellation by students of the University of Bayreuth is free of charge up to the start of the course

Funding Possibilities
Unfortunately, international students not associated with any partner university of the University of Bayreuth, cannot receive further discounts than the Early Bird fee.
International students from associated partner universities of the University of Bayreuth must be nominated by their home university by 01 April 2022 to a tuition fee reduction.
The University of Bayreuth does not provide any additional scholarship programmes for Summer School participants.
